  • Interactive Training Workshop: Sentinel Cerebral Protection System
Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago, Superior Room, Level 2
    Time Options: 2:00-4:00pm and 4:15-6:15pm

    Workshop Overview:
The objective of these training sessions is to provide an interactive forum, including didactic and hands-on demonstration, for physicians and other members of the heart team to learn the benefits and use of the Sentinel® Cerebral Protection System in TAVR. The sessions will be led by physicians currently using Sentinel in their TAVR practices who will share their experiences, including case studies in a variety of anatomies, demonstrate and offer hands-on use of Sentinel in anatomical models, as well as answer patient selection questions and provide an opportunity for interactive discussion on the topic of cerebral embolic protection during TAVR.

    Workshop Objectives:
After this session you will be more familiar with:

    • CT interpretation considerations for identifying the most appropriate patients and anatomies for Sentinel patients
    • Sentinel device preparation, insertion, delivery and removal of the device
    • Key considerations for optimal Sentinel device maneuvering through various arch anatomies
    • Clinical highlights of cerebral embolic protection with Sentinel
